Sunday in the countryside

On Sunday morning we joined Anne and her family at mass. Hannah did pretty well sitting through the long process in a language she didn’t understand. After mass, Rosette picked up Hannah, Sybille and me and we drove out to the Alsatian countryside to Claire and Franz’s weekend house. We had a wonderful afternoon of delicious food, great conversation, and lots of playing for the kids. 

We came back to Rosette’s house and will stay here for the next few nights. Sybille wanted to join us last night, so she and Hannah had their third night together!  They are really sweet with each other and I’m so glad that Hannah is playing with kids and not hanging onto me all the time. I’ve loved getting to reconnet wth my host sisters and mom and am looking forward to showing H around Strasbourg.
