Water day

This morning we all walked down to the beach (4 blocks!) and had a fun time swimming. It was much nicer to go in the morning when the sun wasn’t beating down on us. Hannah met an 8 year old French girl on holiday with her mother and the two were in and out of the water playing for almost 2 hours!  They collected lots of sea glass too. We are going to meet them at the beach again tomorrow morning. 

We went out to lunch nearby our apartment then came home for a little nap and quiet time in the air conditioning. It was so hot out.

We then walked through vieux Nice and climbed up to the site of the old castle. Amazing views from up there and luckily the clouds covered the sun and helped cool it down a little. We cooled off a bit in the spray of the waterfall. 

Back at the apartment, we read books and got Hannah a happy meal. Yes, it did make her happy!
