Successful Camping
We got back late last night from our camping trip. Hervé’s parents have a mobile home that they let us use for the weekend. We arrived late on Friday and enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant.

Saturday we took a hike along the river, then rented canoes and explored a little more. Then we all swam in the river to cool off. The campground was fairly small but is known for hosting foreigners. Hannah was thrilled when a family of 6 from England arrived and set up their tent just across from us. All of the kids enjoyed playing soccer together and in the sand by the river.
Saturday night the little kids watched Ice Age 4 while the adults and older kids played a fun game of cards - president.
Sunday we had a relaxing morning and the kids had lots of time to run and play. We left early in the afternooon for a stop at Hervé’s cousin’s house to celebrate their son’s 14th birthday. We all had a nice time playing in their new pool, and even played some
volleyball. We took a tour of their farm and visited the animals and Hannah even ate a tomato and some lettuce picked from the garden.

We stopped for dinner on the way home at a Chinese-Vietnamese-Thai restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised when I got my order of Tom Ka Kai soup and it tasted just like the soup from my fav Thai place at home.
