Sacre Coeur
Today we had a slow morning. I loved being able to leave Hannah with Jon in the apartment and go out for breakfast fixings on my own. We went to Les Halles where Hannah played in the terrain d’aventure and met Julia (6) from El Paso. The two had a fun time playing hide and go seek and continued playing in the water fountains once the park closed at 1.

We took the metro to Pigalle, then walked to the funicular, and rode that up to Sacre Coeur. We ate lunch on a terrace facing the Place Tertre and watched the artists hard at work. Hannah loved looking at the artwork and selected her own painting to bring home with her. We went in Sacre Coeur and H said a prayer as she lit a special candle.
We took the tourist train around Montmartre and I saw streets that I’d never seen before. Hannah took a little nap on the train too.
We stopped at Amorino for sorbets and then found a little park by Pigalle where Hannah played. We had a picnic dinner at home of bread, cheese, and salami for A & J, and Hannah had a bowl of cereal! We tried to finish up all the food in the fridge, as we leave early tomorrow morning for Nice. I’m so excited to get to the beach!
in the picture with the friend from Texas, H looks exactly like Amy - don't know if it's the lighting or what, but she looks like a very young Amy
