Hot in Nice

Early this morning we left Paris to fly to Nice. Boy is the sun hot here!  Despite many applications of sunscreen, we all got varying types of burns - luckily nothing serious. We had a lovely lunch right on the water, then Hannah and Jon enjoyed a swim in the Mediterranean Sea while I ran out to buy a beach towel for them.  We walked along the Promenade des Anglais, then worked our way through the parks and 

water fountains then into Old Town. We all rested back in the air conditioned apartment for a bit before going out for a yummy pizza dinner in town. We are all exhausted and ready to go to bed!
