Happy Friday!

Today is Friday the 20th and we slept in until 9:30 after a loud thunderstorm and rainshower last night. Luckily Hannah slept through the whole thing!  This morning we are off to pick some strawberries before our trip to the grocery store. We picked strawberries (from raised beds!), raspberries and blueberries. Yum!  

We will soon pick up some food for our camping trip. We are headed to les Creuses about a 2 hour drive from here and will spend two nights away

Yesterday we visited a castle in Sully sur Loire. It was a fairly small castle, but enough to take up an entire 90 minute guided tour in French = total boredom for Hannah and I tried to translate and occupy her as best as I could. 

After the castle, we went to a pizzeria for a delicious lunch then had an amazing time at l’etang du puits where they had an aquaplouf set up.  An aquaplouf is an inflatable playground set out in the middle of a body of water (here a large pond). We swam out to it with lifejackets on and had an hour to jump and run around like crazy!  We all loved it!  I hadn’t laughed so hard in a long time.
