Grandma is here!

Yay!  My mom arrived this afternoon.  We had lunch at a café a few blocks away from our hotel, then set out to visit the canal st martin. This is something neither of us had ever visited and we all enjoyed seeing the locks in action as a boat moved down the canal.   Hannah enjoyed some quick park time, before a quick stop for some thé glacé. 

Another “bucket list item” was the promenade plantée, which did not disappoint.  We all had a lovely time walking along viewing all of the greenery.  

We’re trying to beat the 90 degree heat now by sitting in front of the fan in our hotel room, no AC here.
