Parks and more parks
Today we had a slow morning and Hannah got some ipad chill out time. We then took the metro out to the 19th to the parc de la vilette. the dragon playground was lots of fun, but she didn’t find any playmates in the morning. We happened upon a dc comics lego exhibition and had lots of fun watching lego comic movie clips, seeing the creations (some built using over 450,000 pieces), playing video games, and making our own creations out of legos. the gift shop did not disappoint and we got a couple of lego packs to build back at the apartment.

We had a late lunch at McDonalds (Happy meals really do make kids happy!) then we went back to another section of parc de la vilette. Hannah met a sweet girl named Kira from Texas and the two girls played together for over 2 hours. I loved talking with her parents (both employees of their local school district). The girls played until almost 7pm!
After a long metro ride home, Hannah had the great idea of making baguette sandwiches for dinner so we popped into the small grocery store on our street for fixings. Hannah had fun building one of her lego kits and I started packing up a bit.
Tomorrow we our Paris apartment and head to Strasbourg for 6 days.
late update from yesterday:
Hannah and I took a train to Sannois to visit a K-12 school named Notre Dame de Sannois. I have done exchanges with them for the past few years and wanted to see a French school. We were met by one of the students and the English teacher, Mr B. we had a nice time exploring the school and luckily they had a playground for H and another playground between the school and the train station. we stopped at the trampolines then played in the tuileries park where she met a brother and sister from seattle! they played for over an hour and then they all did the trampolines once more!
